First Day of Classes - and it's HUMP Day!

In American English, the term "hump day" means Wednesday. That's because Wednesday is the middle day in a 7-day week. So we think of a week in the shape of a hump - Sunday starts at the bottom of the line and it curves up to Wednesday when it peaks, then it starts to curve back down again until it ends on Saturday.

Well, this is a special week because we are starting our first day of the first session of the year on Wednesday - HUMP DAY! So I just had to share with you this commercial from Geico. The humor is "corny" and that's partly why I like it. I also am in love with this happy camel!

Enjoy!
